new dessert and brunch cocktails 12.19.13

Starting Thurs PM- we'll have some brand spankin' new dessert cocktails. The Doug Funny and Spiced Pimm's Cup are coming off.
For brunch we'll feature The New Dude, a take on a white Russian and an ode to The Big Lebowski.
 
New Dessert/Brunch Cocktails

I.                    Hot Toddy

a.       1oz Apple Brandy

b.      1 oz Becherovka

c.       ½ oz Giffords Vanilla

d.      ½ oz honey butter simple

e.      ½ oz Lemon Juice

f.        Mount, pour in coffee mug and top with hot h20

g.       Garnish with cinnamon stick w/2 straws, lemon wedge

II.                  The Tea Party

a.       1oz Cynar

b.      ½ oz Limoncello

c.       ½ oz Stirrings Ginger

d.      ¾ oz Honey Simple

e.      ½ oz Lemon Juice

f.        Crème de Violet rinse

g.       Mount, pour in mug, top with hot chamomile tea

h.      Garnish w lemon wedge

III.                Canadian Coffee

a.       1 ½ oz Crown Maple

b.      ½ oz Licor 43

c.       ½ Amaretto

d.      Mount, pour in mug, top with hot coffee

e.      Garnish with orange peel

IV.                Hog Nog

a.       1 oz Rye

b.      ½ oz Giffords Vanilla

c.       ½ oz Honey Butter Simple

                                                               i.      ½ honey, ½ butter

d.      1 whole egg

e.      3 shakes nutmeg

f.        Mount, dry shake, shake with ice, strain into chilled low ball

g.       Garnish with nutmeg

V.                  The New Dude

a.       1 oz Sailor Jerry

b.      ½ oz Galliano Ristretto

c.       4 dashes black walnut bitters

d.      Mount, stir, pour into low ball, top with milk, garnish with 2 cocktail straws.
